Empty Boxes
I think you wouldn't believe what I found today. I been wanting to go into that shop which I saw some old Tomica some months ago but a little embarrased as it is now a shop selling women's garment and some tailoring (which used to be a toy shop). Today, I pluck up my courage and approached the shop filled with aunties who are plucking vegetables. The aunty, who supposed to be the shop owner, gladly sell me all her Tomicas at a really good price. I wouldn't say that all are old or rare Tomicas but these are some generations ago and some Tomy logo are still in red. Then the aunty brought out a plastic bag full of Tomica boxes and gave it to me FREE. She told me after Tomica raise their price to $3.50, she stop selling them and gave to her grandchildren. Oh my, $3.50 is price 4 years ago. Even when I told her the price is $5.95 now, she still sell me at a really low price since I told her I will buy all. She told me that she had thrown away the display case some years back as she decided to stop selling Tomica, she said that if she still have it, she will give it to me. I think I am just a little too late.

ReplyDeleteCan I buy the CR-Vs?
ReplyDeleteHi Starscream, the CR-V is just an empty box, no car.
ReplyDeleteOh! The CR-Vs are becoming rare nowadays, the boxes may come in useful one day when we can find ourselves a loose car. Thanks!!
